Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir

Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir is an entrepreneur, artist and financier with a passion for impact investing and future-led innovations. She is the Chairwoman of the Impact Advisory Board of White Oak Global Advisors, founder of Possible X and advisor to CEOs globally.

 

Roksana has a 20-year track record in banking, with senior positions held at Credit Suisse, Edmond de Rothschild, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan and the EBRD. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, she served as Vice-President and Deputy CEO of Poland’s largest bank, Bank Pekao. In her role as Chairwoman of the Impact Advisory Board of White Oak, a San Francisco based global alternative asset manager with assets of more than $6.8 billion, Roksana is developing and guiding White Oak’s commitment to impact investing. 

In addition to promoting positive impact through investment, at Possible X, Roksana leverages creativity, art and technology to challenge the status quo, inspire and shape the future of companies worldwide. As an Artist in Residence for Fabergé, Roksana explores the complex relationship between contemporary art and sustainability. She has collaborated with well-known artists such as Terry O’Neill and exhibited her art all over the world. Roksana’s work has been auctioned at Sotheby’s and Philips, often raising money for philanthropic causes. In film, Roksana is the Producer of Battle for Britain, a short film highlighting the role of Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain, starring Julian Glover. She is also an Executive Producer of Oliver Stone's latest documentary on nuclear power, A Bright Future. Roksana is an international speaker - guest lecturer at Stanford University and the CFA Institute. In 2014 she was named a ‘Young Global Leader’ by the World Economic Forum.
