Photini holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Athens, an MA in International Journalism from City University, London, and an MA in Higher and Professional Education from the Institute of Education, University of London. In 1991 she was awarded a Doctorate in Politics and Economics from Queen Mary, University of London.
She was a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Arts London (1992-2006), specializing in Political Communication, History, Cultural Politics and Adult Education.
In 2006 she moved to the south of France, where she created the training and coaching company Wisdom in Action International, which provides services in the areas of professional development, communication and intercultural cooperation to organizations, communities and individuals. The main focus of her professional practice is the creation of meaningful and long-lasting solutions for the effective communication and cooperation of teams and individuals with different viewpoints, interests or cultural background through the process of dialogue and public engagement. She has published her research in academic journals and in international research and professional conferences.
In the 32 years of her life in Britain and France, she was active in the spheres of arts and culture and created a number of cultural groups with the aim of promoting Greek music, art and literature to European audiences.
She has also participated as mentor and trainer in international organizations which promote the education, professional development and business development for women in Europe and the developing world.
