Ms Maliha Zia Lari is a Pakistani human rights activists and lawyer. She completed her LLB from University College of Islamabad and then moved abroad to complete her LLM in International Human Rights Law from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

In her career as a lawyer, Ms. Maliha has worked with a number of high profile law firms, which include a stint at the Office of Attorney General of Pakistan, AQ Law Associates, National Coordinator, Legislative Watch Programme at Aurat Foundation, Legal and Gender Consultant.
Ms. Maliha Zia Lari has also been part of many high profile publications with national and international agencies.
Her publications include; “Analysis of Data Collection on VAW in Pakistan”, with UN Women, “Country Scan on Pending and Passed Pro Women Legislations”, with UN Women, “NGO CEDAW Alternative Report”, with Aurat Foundation, “Pilot Study on Honor Killings in Pakistan and the Compliance with Law”, with Aurat Foundation, “Gender Review of Labor Laws is Pakistan”, with PILER and many more.

Currently Ms. Maliha works as Associate Director at Legal Aid Society and Manager Law & Gender at Aurat Foundation.
