Maccs Pescatore is a persistent impact maker. She's the first CEO of Montessori Centre International, an active voice and campaigner for the provision of and recognition of quality education, particularly early years.

 

She has a passion for the hills and mountains and sees the outdoors as nature's educator. As a daughter of Italian emigres, she was the first in her family to go to University and, as a Chartered Accountant, the first to step into a profession. With her corporate career, she has lived and worked in a number of countries.

 

Over the years, Maccs has served on the boards of trusts and companies in the education and outdoor recreational space and is a passionate advocate of the many ways that the interaction of these can be transformative. She is a mentor and a coach.
