Jennifer Barsky

Jennifer Barsky is founder and CEO of Itsarz and the non-profit Itsarz Women’s Leadership Collective, which are dedicated to empowering women leaders through health and wellness. She is a certified holistic health coach and yoga and meditation instructor and a recognized leader in women and girls empowerment with more than two decades of professional experience working in over 20 countries.
Born in Montreal Canada, she spent her early professional life as an institutional broker on Wall Street before becoming a journalist and advisor to the United Nations and dozens of multinational corporations and non-profits. She later served as Director of the Nike Foundation, where she helped bring global attention to the marginalization of adolescent girls.
Jennifer went on to spend more than a decade with the World Bank Group designing and managing programs to help the poor gain access to finance, expand small and medium enterprises, and give women and girls the opportunity, voice, and leadership they need to thrive. During her tenure she was also elected President of the employee Disability Association, representing more than 10,000 staff on issues of disability rights and inclusion.
Jennifer holds a masters in international affairs from Columbia University where she served as adjunct professor and a bachelors from McGill University
