About the Event
A versatile Italian cookery class with “what we have in our kitchen” guided by author Grazia Giuliani, culminating in a convivial dinner shared on-line through Zoom. We will be cooking a flavoursome meal with ingredients we have in the fridge and in our pantry on the day. Grazia will show how to be versatile and creative in the kitchen in times of “restrictions”... Enough is plenty. A meal which appeals to adults and children alike, meat eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians, vegans and free-from, will be prepared “live” by all participants with options, suggestions and variations guaranteed to please you all. Gastronomic history, curiosities, anecdotes and legends related to food will be topic of our conversation, stretching to everyone’s storytelling of their own culinary experiences! In these times of deep uncertainty, we express our gratitude to have food on the table and family and friends to share what Mother Earth provides us with. We share a moment of reflection and humble acknowledgement of our need for Mother Nature to keep giving us her most appreciated gifts.
Please note: If you have poultry/white fish/prawns in the freezer, make sure they are defrosted before the gastronomic experience begins.
