Dr.Tanya is a paediatrician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her medical degree from Oxford University Medical School.

She is currently a paediatric intensive care doctor and works part-time with the humanitarian aid organisation “Doctors without Borders”. Over the Past decade, she has worked in Gaza and the West Bank as a medical trainer with several organizations. She is also the co-founder of the social media account “Gaza Medic Voices”, which shares first-hand accounts from Gaza healthcare professionals.
