Dr Mara Harvey
Head of Client Services, Global Wealth Management, UBS
Mara is a senior manager at UBS with over 20 years’ experience and has held positions spanning strategy, risk and capital management, organizational design, client development and advisory of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. Today, Mara is head of Client Services for Global Wealth Management, helping clients to have more impact with their wealth in multiple ways:
as family, as entrepreneurs, as philanthropists and as investors.
In her previous position, she ran UBS's UHNW wealth management businesses across Germany, Austria, and Italy, as well as UK International and Northern Europe International, leading a team of over 100 wealth management professionals. She also brought to life the bank's global transformation program focusing on women's wealth, and her innovation team was shortlisted for the Disruptor of the Year Award at the Women in Finance Awards, 2018.

As board member of the UBS Optimus Foundation in Germany, Mara is engaged in improving health, education and protection for the world's most vulnerable children. She is also an active advocate for gender equality, financial literacy and female economic empowerment, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences as well as published author (Women and Risk, 2018, and A Smart Way To Start series, 2018-2020), teaching children about money, equality and sustainability.
Mara holds a doctorate with highest honors in Political Economy from Fribourg University, Switzerland, and speaks English, Italian, French and German fluently.
