Dawn is a multi-channel content leader and strategist with a breadth of media industry experience in consumer comms, commercial content and editorial.


She has vast experience in both print and digital publishing in newsstand, B2C and B2B sectors and has led content, marketing and creative teams for global clients.

A former national newspaper and magazine editor with extensive experience as a TV commentator, she has worked at C-level for content agencies - across digital, print and social.

As Group Editor for an Omnicom content agency and Editorial Director for a WPP-owned company, clients she has included global brands across luxury, travel, health retail, sport, food and wine, fashion, automotive, lifestyle, business, and technology sectors.

Dawn has recently become the Executive Director of the Society of Editors working with its board on many issues including fighting for the freedom of the press, freedom of expression and helping newsrooms become as diverse as the audiences they serve.
