Caroline has worked in journalism for more than 20 years, previously chief reporter at Press Association, reporting all over the world before moving to The Telegraph where she was part of the MPs’ expenses scandal team, and then working on investigations at MailOnline.

Caroline has been at The Independent for two years, helping oversee stories such as the Sunak non-dom revelations and Zahawi tax concerns.
